AUDITIONS FOR UPCOMING ECT EXPERIENCES

We are NOW accepting open call auditions for all of our upcoming 2024 experiences. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions about the productions or about our process. We are constantly looking for multi-disciplinary actors who are excited about helping us tell stories with a group of people who reflect our community. Join us!

All of the calendars below are TENTATIVE and generally reflect ALL possible calendar dates. We try to only call you when we are working with you directly and we are very workable with conflicts so feel free to reach out with any calendar questions.

  • Fiddler on the Roof

    February/March 2024

This beloved musical is going to take place out under the oak groves on the west side of the property, before the sunset garden. (If you saw our Alice: An Immersive Adventure, this was where the Mad Hatter tea party took place.) We are going to transform the oak grove into the little village of Anatevka with a small cast of 16 actors playing multiple roles alongside a small group of live musicians.

We are looking to cast a diverse cast for this production and hoping to find some musician/actors to play some of the score as well.

  • The Road to Oz: An Immersive Adventure

    April 2024

In this original play that will take students all over the grounds of the Muck, students will have to help the citizens of Oz save their home from the Wicked Witch. By meeting characters along the Yellow Brick Road, students will find their own interactive way in finding solutions to help Oz. Our world of Oz will depart from the MGM film: Our modern Oz is built around a broken Yellow Brick Road, and all of the characters will be costumed in that modern transit world.

Most of these performances will occur during the day and during the workweek. This will feature a very condensed rehearsal process.

  • The Heart of Robin Hood

    June 2024

Our summer 2024 production here on the amphitheater stage will be David Farr’s The Heart of Robin Hood. Can a hood become a hero? All is not well in Nottingham. A cruel prince is terrorizing the countryside, the poor are up to their quivers in taxes, and Robin Hood has learned to steal from the rich—but hasn’t figured out the other part. To the rescue comes a sword-wielding, sharp witted Maid Marion, who sets out to show Robin and his scary men that there can be honor among thieves. David Farr’s funny, fast-paced swashbuckler will surprise you with a new spin on a story you think you know.

With tons of fight choreography and an ensemble that plays a folk rock score throughout the entire production, we are looking for actors with a varied skill set.

  • Much Ado About Nothing

    October 2024

Our final show of the 2024 season is Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, which we are going to perform in the Center Circle Courtyard, turning that courtyard with its beautiful cafe lights into an Italian restaurant. That’s right - this show will include an Italian meal, Italian wine, and an Italian villain named Don John the Bastard: Love’s in the air when Don Pedro’s army, drunk with victory from the war, descends upon Leonato’s country estate in Messina. Traveling with him is Claudio, who wants to marry Leonato’s daughter Hero. Meanwhile, Claudio’s friend Benedick and Leonato’s lively niece Beatrice hide their mutual attraction behind a volley of witty insults.
